rate of the Mumbai is above 86%, which is higher than the national
average. The religious composition of the city include: Hindus (68%),
Muslims (17%), Christians (4%), and Jains (4%). The remainder section of
the population comprises of Parsis, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jews and atheists.
