Indian People
India is a country with huge racial and ethnic
diversity. Indian people can be divided into six main ethnic groups.
These include Negrito, Proto Australoids, Mongoloid, Mediterranean,
Western Brachycephals and Nordic Aryans. Apart from the wide ethnic
diversity there is also huge variation in the spatial distribution of
population. While some districts have a population density of over 1000
others have density of less than 100. There is huge variation in
literacy rates and sex ratios too across India. We have collected
